Levente Horv\u00e1th is the founding Director of Eurasia Center of the John von Neumann University, Hungary.<\/p>\n\n\n

Levente Horv\u00e1th is a China expert, has been dealing with China from 2005 onwards, he was doing his bachelor and master degree in tourism management in China, at the Fudan University in Shanghai, and graduated with rector\u2019s award. From 2016 he is the Vice-President of the Fudan University Alumni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017-2021, Levente Horv\u00e1th was doing his PhD studies at the University of P\u00e9cs, his research field focused on the Chinese geopolitical thinking and on the One Belt, One Road initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between 2015 and 2017, he was the Consul General of Hungary in Shanghai and in this position, he was responsible for deepening the Sino-Hungarian relations. In 2017-2019 he served as the Head of Educational Department in the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, the central bank of Hungary, from 2019 he became the Chief Advisor to the Governor of the central bank of Hungary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2021 he was given the Shanghai Silver Magnolia Award acknowledging his contribution to Shanghai\u2019s development with respect to its economy, trade, finance, education and culture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
