Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In recent years, the ideologies and capacities of states, as well as the visions and competencies of leaders, have emerged as pivotal elements in the realm of international relations. China’s current leader, Xi Jinping, has articulated an ambitious vision and approach to foreign policy, which has been embraced by the Chinese state as its official ideology.
