Abstract
Central Asia is strategically important for the European Union (EU) due to its location, role in connecting Europe and Asia, security concerns, proximity to Afghanistan, abundant energy resources, and market potential. The EU has developed specific policies towards Central Asia, including negotiating a new generation of Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreements with Central Asian states.This study explores the relations between the European Union and Central Asia, focusing on diplomatic, economic, and strategic aspects. It discusses the agreements and investments made within this framework and assesses the current state and future potential of these relations.
